Statewide | Hybrid

About VLP
The Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project (VLP) is a statewide nonprofit that expands access to justice by connecting low‑income Mainers with pro bono civil legal services. We partner with volunteer attorneys, courts, and community organizations to deliver high‑quality, client‑centered legal assistance.

Position Overview
The Justice Referral Advocate is a key operational and client-facing role supporting VLP’s clinics and pro bono referral programs. This position ensures that clinics run smoothly, referrals progress efficiently, and both clients and volunteer attorneys are well supported.

This is a hybrid, high-responsibility role that combines clinic coordination, case and referral management, and client communication. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and exercises strong judgment in handling sensitive information.
